EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS For centuries, people have thought that pyramid have been constructed by the extraterrestrials while many others believed that the Egyptians might have owned or possessed a technology that’s been lost through the ages. Here, in this research paper, let us see what the findings are of researchers, scholars, archaeologists, physicists and professors around the world. The first†¦show more content†¦One of the techniques to build pyramids started from pharaoh Djoser’s reign around 2630 B.C. whose mastaba tomb at Saqqara started off as a simple rectangular tomb before being developed into a six-layered step with underground tunnels and chambers. It started off with a flat-roofed structure with sloping sides and through a series of expansions rose to 197 ft. high pyramid. 11.6 million cubic feet of stone and clay was used to build the mastaba. The tunnels underneath this pyramid are 3.5 miles long. Another technique was discovered in the reign of pharaoh Snefru who ruled around 2575 B.C. and was the builder of at least three pyramids. Snefru’s builder developed methods to design smooth-faced true pyramids instead of step pyramids. On observing one of the pyramids built by Snefru’s architect at the site of Dashur, known as the â€Å"Bent Pyramid,† proves that there was a trouble faced during its construction and thus resulted in the design flaw, according to many scholars. It is called the bent pyramid because its angle changes in the middle, giving the structure a bent appearance. The second pyramid called the â€Å"Red Pyramid,† has the shape of the perfect true pyramid with no bents in its appearance. It has a constant angle and is made of red color stones, thus named the red pyramid.
